A remarkable film, The Genius of Christopher Marlowe, has been produced which will be shown on a cinematic screen in the Rose, to enable visitors to have an idea how his plays might have been seen and heard by audiences in the place they were first performed.
The film will help to raise funds and support for the Rose Theatre Trust in their efforts to fund the preservation and presentation of the oldest excavated theatre on London's Bankside.

The film boasts a cast of outstanding actors which includes Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Anthony Sher, Henry Goodman, Alan Rickman and Frances Barber to raise funds for the Rose Theatre Trust to preserve and present to the public the oldest excavated theatre in Europe.

Una notable pelíula, The Genius of Christopher Marlowe, ha sido producida para ser mostrada en pantalla en el The Rose, permitirá a los visitantes tener una idea de como sus obras podrían haber sido vistas y oídas por el público en el lugar donde por primera vez fueron realizadas. La película ayudará a recaudar fondos y apoyo para el Rose Theatre Trust en sus esfuerzos de financiar la preservación del teatro más viejo construido en el Bankside de Londres.

La película alardea de un excepcional casting que incluye a: Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Anthony Sher, Henry Goodman, Alan Rickman y Frances Barber.

Screening times
The Genius of Christopher Marlowe, which has a running time of 35 minutes, will be shown Monday to Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Rose Theatre on Bankside (200 yards from Shakespeare’s Globe) from 10th July to the end of August.

Bottle Shock DVD in Spanish!

It hasn´t been released in Spanish cinemas, but Paramount Spain has decided to edit in DVD this wonderful movie interpreted by Alan Rickman. Will go out to sale next August 29 under "Guerra de Vinos" name and it´s already possible to reserve in the next link.

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter y el Misterio del Principe.

Rickman Club has had the placeur to go to the Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince´s premiere in Madrid the last 13th July.Cinema Proyecciones showed the movie. A lot of fans were there to see the Phelps brothers (Weasley Brothers) . James and Oliver came present the movie in Madrid. We give thank you to Warner Bros Spain to invited us (Rickman Club).
About the movie we can say that it´s incredible and the perfomance of Alan Rickman is fantastic. We want to say, about Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbeldore) , they perfomance too. We put some pictures where we can see to Alan Rickman as Pofessor Snape. We hope that you like it!


Rickman Club ha tenido el placer de asistir a la premiere de la 6º pelicula de la saga en Madrid el pasado día 13 de Julio.El encuentro tuvo lugar en el cine Proyecciones en la cápital donde centenares de Fans esperaban ansiosas la llegada de los Gemelos Phelps (Gemelos Waesly) que asistieron al evento, para presentarnos esta nueva entrega.Deseamos agradecer a Warner Bros España que invitara a Rickman Club.Sobre la película solo podemos decir que es increible, y la actuación de Alan digna de ser vista. También destacar el gran trabajo de Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) y Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbeldore) A continuación os dejamos algunas fotografias de escenas donde podemos ver a Alan Rickman interpretanto su personaje del Profesor Severus Snape Esperamos que las disfruteis tanto las fotos como la película que en españa se estrenó el día 15 de Julio!.

Once again our great actor has received an honorary award from University of the Arts London!!.

Una vez más nuestro gran actor ha recibido un premio honorifico de la University of the Arts London!! Alan Rickman (Honorary Fellow)
Eminent actor and director Alan Rickman studied graphic design at Chelsea School of Art, graduating in 1964. After a stint as a designer, during which he co-founded design agency Graphitti, Rickman won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Graduating in 1974, he went on to receive critical acclaim for his roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Rickman has since gone on to appear in over fifty film and stage productions, including Truly Madly Deeply, Sense and Sensibility and the Harry Potter series, and has directed a number of award winning stage and film productions. His ability to play a spectrum of characters has made him one of the nation's best loved actors. Rickman continues to act and is Vice Chairman of the RADA council.

El eminente actor y director Alan Rickman estudió diseño gráfico en la Escuela de Arte de Chelsea, graduándose en 1964. Después de un periodo de tiempo como diseñador, durante el cuál co-fundó la agencia de diseño Graphitti, Rickman ganó una beca para la Real Academia de Arte Dramático (RADA). Graduándose en 1974, continuó recibiendo aclamadas críticas por sus papeles con la Royal Shakespeare Company. Desde entonces, Rickman ha aparecido en mas de 50 películas y obras de teatro, incluyendo 'Truly, madly, deeply', 'Sentido y Sensibilidad', y la saga de 'Harry Potter'; y ha dirigido varias obras de teatro y producido algunas películas ganadoras de premios. Su habilidad para interpretar una amplia gama de personajes han hecho de él uno de los actores mas queridos de la nación. Rickman continua actuando y es Vicepresidente del Consejo de la RADA.

Alan Rickman en el Funeral de Natasha Richardson. Liam Neeson, their sons, Natasha´s mother, Vanessa Redgrave and very much friends (Included Alan Rickman) paid their last respects to Natasha Richardson at a funeral service in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Millbrook, New York on Sunday afternoon.
