Creditors directed by Alan Rickman in Donmar Warehouse

Alan Rickman's play '' The Creditors'' open the last September 25 in the Donmar Warehouse theatre in London. At 7.30 pm the play begun.
You saw a room , a white room with two beds , chairs and a sculpture ( that belongs to the story ) . So the whole play was playing in that room. The play was about 3 persons . Telka ( a married woman), Adolf ( her husband) and Gustav ( her divorced husband). It about love, morbid jealousy and revenge. The two actors Tom Burke and Owen Teale and the actress Anna Chancellor did very good work ,they were the best choice they could ever do and most of the success of the play are their work! Of course it's Alan Rickman's success as well but without real stage actors/actress you can't have a success as director with your play, even if you work very hard and you are very talented.

But as we all know Alan Rickman showed us twice before that he is a good director And during the whole play you saw his work, you saw that it was HIS work. You saw the movements of the actors/actress, their look at the audience, the way they were talk - you saw that he was pasting himself in the play/his way to act - and it was wonderful!

The actors/actress and Alan Rickman as director made a very good showing and gave that feeling to be in a story for almost 2 hours!

Alan Rickman was in The Reading Room

Alan Rickman estuvo en The Reading Room en el teatro The Point, de Eastleigh

Reading Room is a touring theatrical encounter between a group of dancers and one high-profile actor per performance. Minghella himself was scheduled to appear on June 27-28, in Eastleigh.

Lunn is still struggling to cope with the shock of Minghella’s death, and considered cancelling the show as a mark of respect. “We were incredibly close. Friends said, ‘Anthony wanted you to do this so much. It’d be letting him down if you don’t.’ So I thought: ‘If I can’t do it with him, I can do it for him.’ ”

In Reading Room, the dancers do their stuff while the actors do theirs, reading from a series of short texts. These include an ambiguous Raymond Carver poem, the riveting Stirrings Still (the last major prose work by Samuel Beckett), and a glorious monologue from Minghella’s 1988 radio play Cigarettes and Chocolate.

Many of the thespians involved are household names: Juliet Stevenson, Miranda Richardson, Alan Rickman (27, 28 June), Toby Jones, Dexter Fletcher. All are friends of Lunn, 53, who in 1990 worked with Stevenson and Rickman on the Minghella film Truly, Madly, Deeply, in which he took the part of a ghost.
